#NaNoWriMo Day 13 Report

Day 13:

Needed: 21,658 words.
Written: 23,890 words.

Got a late start tonight again. For the first time in over a decade I've had something more pressing than sitting down and watching DVDs, and I now have to make time to watch the Netflix discs coming in.

So I didn't start until late tonight, later than last night even. Had to stay up past midnight to meet the daily word count.

As for what I was writing, I was doing only one scene, but I had to make some choices about what played out so that I didn't end up creating problems for myself later on. Like, if the protag get a briefcase belonging to another character and there's an address book in it, that'll create a lot of options on what to do next than if there was no address book.

But now I'm not sure where I'll go tomorrow. I'm thinking I should focus on part of a scene that I skipped over a couple days ago. There's something there that I should get down so I can follow through on it pretty soon. But it may take all day trying to think of what the something is.
